A Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons. (Yeah, I know I didn't do the syllable thang...jane)

Far away, bits of red and yellow,
with legs,
run to and fro.
